Special Guests

One of the highlights that occurred while my blog was on hiatus was getting visited by friends from home! February was great because TWO people came to see me. Lori came first and I got to show her my new place. Lori and I taught at Cullen together and she even moved into my old room there. She is also very special because we are "Birthday Buddies" on March 1st. It was so fun to have her here and even though I've only known her a few years I just think she is so much fun to be around! As you can see, Sadie loved Lori too. She especially loved that Lori thought she was a "clean" dog. :) Thanks for visiting me Lori!

Then, a few weeks later Julie came! Julie was trying hard to be my first visitor but Lori beat her by 2 weeks. :) Julie and I went to Winter Park and she snowboarded while I skied. We went to Carver's Bakery where Julie had a bite of eggs after not liking them her whole life. Only days after she got home she actually bought eggs and made them for herself! Monumental occasion. It was so fun to show Julie around my new life and now when I say I'm at REI, she now knows exactly where I am! What a great friend she is and I love her! Thanks for coming to see me Julie!!!

So....who's next? Have I mentioned how beautiful Colorado is in the summer? :)
