Drenda Withdrawls

First of all, when Drenda sees this, the first thing she will do is say something about how she looks in the picture above....even though she looks fine. She's beautiful! I love this picture because it's the only one I have of us. I think she threw the other one away that I had hanging by Babs' door! :) Anyhow...I am missing her! The ironic thing is that here in CO I have a full time aide and she is always there. She's great....but she's no Drenda. So I found myself thinking...why is it that when I have to spend so much time with an aide in my classroom it can't be with the one I really like? Drenda would get my jokes...Drenda would tell even funnier jokes...she would think the same things are funny about the kids...Drenda would just know how to do things...and she would NOT use hot pink paper on my bulletin board with the rainbow boarder. I could trust her completely. She has made me look real good up here in CO. She is one talented gal. I am always saying, "Thanks...my aide in CA made that." I have somehow managed to hang things up in the room without her. I don't know why but I have been missing her even more lately. So, I just say things like, "Have a seat on your keister, Meister" so I can smile and pretend that Drenda is right there with me. I love you Drenda!
