I met Julie for lunch a few weeks ago. Little Josiah is due August 4th. Yesterday I got to go to a shower for her too. She got so many cute things and it was fun to celebrate this new blessing in her life! I love seeing how God has made her dreams come true. She will be an amazing mom!
My new school... Lone Tree Elementary!!! I will be teaching 1st grade again. I just keep bouncing back and forth between K and 1st. It was a hard decision to leave the school where I have been, but I am also excited to see what this new chapter holds. It will be great to have 24 students as opposed to the 46 I've had with two Kindergarten classes. My classroom is HUGE with two windows (windows are a big deal to me). The school is only one year old and has lots of technology. It is 5 miles from home and they will pay me a lot more money! :)

Isn't Avery cute in this hat?
I watched the two girls while Heidi went to get a haircut and let me just say it was a BUSY hour. Heidi has her
hands full! But they are so sweet and cute. I love that I get to be part of their lives.

These teachers from my "old" school have been such a gift. They helped make my transition to CO so much easier. Four of them helped me move to my new school with their SUVs and a truck... we packed up and unloaded it in 4 hours! All you teachers out there know that is GREAT. They were so kind. I am thankful for their friendship, sad that I won't get to see them everyday now, but glad they assure me we will all still get together to catch up! This picture is taken on Debbie's deck... it's amazing! It looks out onto aspens and pine trees. I would live out there if I had a deck like that.
I went hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park this week with Will. Isn't it beautiful? Actually, this picture doesn't even do it justice. The best part was off-roading and making it all around the lake. It reminded me of Walkabout days....only I felt a lot cleaner and didn't have to eat tuna, crackers, and sweaty cheese for lunch!
