Last night at Young Life, we had to dress up as a past decade for a dance party night. If you know me at all, this is right up my alley. I've gotten to dress up TWICE in the past 2 months. I got to wear my cheerleading outfit for Halloween and my cool garage sale dress last night. Then, to top it all off, we actually had a dance party with super fun music to get down to.
This is Genna in her 80's garb. She and I are leading a small group together starting tomorrow night. We have some pretty social, boy crazy, flighty, beautiful high school girls. During our cabin talks at Snow Camp, my usual phrase was, "OK, girls, let's reel it in..." It got to be a little game for me to see if I could somehow tie their tangent back into: what sin is....why Jesus died for them...what did the speaker say? Gotta love 'em! I'll take a picture tomorrow night and post it...pictures are worth a thousand words, right?
